Typhoon

The Typhoon mechanical extraction unit ensures that stale and polluted air is mechanically removed from the building.

Overview

The Typhoon consists of an aerodynamically shaped discharge cowl, horizontally arranged shutters, an axial fan, a roof mounting flange and an inner mounting flange and outer protective grille. With the exception of the axial fan and the two protective grilles, the Typhoon is made entirely of aluminium. The horizontally arranged shutters are automatically opened by the airflow when the fan starts up. After the Typhoon is switched off, the shutters close automatically by their own weight and spring force.

The Typhoon is equipped with shutters that reduce the transfer of heat. The various roof connection options available and its low unit weight make the Typhoon ideally suited for fixing on all kinds of roofs and roof connection systems such as wooden planks, steel bases, polyester bases, etc.

Features and benefits

  • Due to its high air performance in combination with very low air resistance and low energy consumption, the Typhoon ensures improved conditions inside the building at extremely low operating costs
