The new Golden Square Shopping Centre in Warrington opened its doors for the first time in May 2007 as part of the regeneration of the centre of Warrington.

This spectacular shopping mall is using a Colt car park ventilation system with Jetstream impulse fans, and the Service road tunnel is ventilated with Cyclone induction fans and special reversible Jetstream impulse fans. The mall itself has OPV Seefire natural ventilators in the roof for smoke control and Labyrinth ventilators for natural ventilation. Further smoke control is provided in the fire-fighting shafts with the Defender dampers, Seefire ventilators and Doorman door operators, again all controlled by the OPV system.
