Einkaufszentrum (EKZ) Görlitz
Görlitz is a small city whose originas go back to 1017. It is located approximately 200km south of Berlin, and is the most eastern town in Germany, lying directly on the border with Poland. Görlitz attracts many visitors to its famous double sundial manufactured by Zacharias Scultetus in 1550.
During the refurbishment of the shopping centre in the middle of the city, Colt provided and installed vertical fixed Shadoglass LS-1 louvres to the façade, and Solar C type C100 around the roof. In the atrium, Colt has supplied a Braat glazed roof construction over 15.8 metres long, with 11 Braat Firelight ventilators for daylighting and smoke ventilation. The contractor was Dyckerhoff & Widmann HNL Dresden.
