Colt UK - Pre-assembled Shadoglass louvres

As part of the Sainsbury's redevelopment, the project consists of sheltered housing apartments and privately owned apartments above their new superstore in Maidenhead, together with extensive car parking facilities.

The store is approximately twice the size of the old store which used to occupy the same site, and has greatly improved facilities for shoppers and residents alike.
Colt has provided a large number of bespoke controllable glass louvre balconies for the apartments, Coltlites and Universal Louvre.
The balconies were to provide a secondary openable façade to the balcony space which overhangs a dual carriageway. These allow the space to be used as open balconies in the summer months, and provide a stunning façade in the town centre.
