Colt UK - Coltlite and Condor ventilators

Manchester Civil Justice Centre

The new Manchester Civil Justice Centre is the biggest court complex to be built in the UK since the Royal Courts of Justice in London, providing 47 courtrooms in a landmark 16-storey building, designed by architect Denton Corker Marshall as a very "green" building.

It features an 11-storey atrium and a spectacular glass façade along the western edge. The natural ventilation system is designed to maximise free cooling potential and comfort in mid-season. As part of this ventilation system, the building is equipped with a large number of Coltlite insulated ventilators, as well as 12 Condor sliding natural ventilators which are installed above the atrium for day to day ventilation. The system is controlled by a Colt OPV Control system.
