The original building prior to refurbishment was a typical 1970's building, with large glazing surfaces, bad insulation and summer temperatures of up to 40°C, making working conditions uncomfortable.

Colt Switzerland has provided a canopy made of a PVC coated polyester fabric, as well as solar treated glass. The fabric was chosen because it is inexpensive, transmits light and is lightweight. Furthermore, as soon as the price of photovoltaic cells falls to a lower level, it may be replaced by photovoltaic cells. This has reduced the summer temperature in the building to a maximum of 20°C over the outside temperature, and provides agood shield against the glare of the sun. In addition, the white coloured canopy is lit up at night providing a neat external effect. The building is occupied by Volksbank (VOBA).
