In their production facilities in Kerkrade, Colt installed a natural ventilation system using 15 WCO and 4 FCO to solve the excessive overheating caused by the extrusion process. The ventilators are also equipped with insect guards to prevent insects coming into the processing area. Colt also installed a mechanical ventilation system in a compressor room, with air outlet in the summer, and heat reclaim for the processing area in winter.
