Nampak Plastics has manufacturing outlets in the UK, Belgium, France and the Netherlands, and produces bottles, cans and containers of synthetic PE and PP (plastics). They supply packaging for agricultural use with a European supply network, they supply the automotive industry, the chemical industry, food, drink and supermarket outlets (most notably the Safeway chain in the UK), home and garden use, personal care, pharmaceuticals and veterinary uses. They are able to offer both Extrusion Blow Moulding (EBM) and Injection-Stretch Blow Moulding (ISBM) process technologies. They can also provide decorative facilities, such as sleeving, labelling and printing. | | In their production facilities in Kerkrade, Colt installed a natural ventilation system using 15 WCO and 4 FCO to solve the excessive overheating caused by the extrusion process. The ventilators are also equipped with insect guards to prevent insects coming into the processing area. Colt also installed a mechanical ventilation system in a compressor room, with air outlet in the summer, and heat reclaim for the processing area in winter.
