NEMAK, Most
The Mexican company, NEMAK, is a producer of aluminium components for the automobile industry, and their only European factory has been built near to the village of Havran, near the town of Most. The architect for this project was the Tebodin Company, and the Project Manager was Bovis Lend Lease.
The building consists of a main production hall, goods transfer, storage and administration centre. In order to reduce the high temperatures reached within the production hall, Colt was asked to design a ventilation scheme. Accordingly four Labryinth MK2 ventilators have been installed into the roof. These units are a considerable size: three of these units measure 29m x 2.5m, and the fourth is 32m x 2.5m, controlled manually as requested by the Project Manager.For more information about Colt products follow the links to the Colt UK website.
