The new station is an extension of the Airport Express Railway serving the new Exhibition site. Smoke ventilation is provided for the upper concourse with EuroSeefire natural louvred ventilators, whilst the platform has side wall mounted pneumatically controlled Kameleon natural casement ventilators to provide smoke ventilation. The side vents are fitted externally with Colt Universal Louvre in line with surrounding Colt Louvre panels.
