COLT EXPANDS IN CHINA

Celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, the Colt Group has recently opened a new manufacturing facility in China to provide a base for the development of its business in China as well as to meet the growing requirements for Colt equipment in the other countries of the Pacific Rim.

Situated in Shenzen, this brand new 25,000 square feet unit has already started the assembly of ventilation and louvre systems. The factory is a joint venture with the owners of Colt's distributors in Hong Kong, who have worked with Colt for many years.

The factory was officially declared open in a spectacular Chinese ceremony attended by many local suppliers, dignitaries and Colt employees. Its opening is a key element in Colt's declared strategy of growth by geographical expansion.
