The Colt Group, one of Europe's leading providers of healthy, comfortable and safe conditions for the built environment, is strengthening its organisation in the Asia Pacific region with two new senior management appointments in order to address the enormous potential for its products and services in this vibrant region.
Mr Derrick Thompson MBA MEng has been appointed as General Manager for Australasia. Based in Hong Kong, Derrick has worked in the building services sector in the USA and Asia Pacific regions for many years.
Colt has also appointed Mr Zou Joudi BSc as General Manager of Colt China, based in Beijing; following sales, marketing and general management positions in France and Hong Kong, Zou has spent the last 13 years in China, most recently managing the expansion of a major building products supplier.

These two new senior management appointments in Australasia follow the opening of Colt's joint venture factory in China in July last year, and the formation of its Australian joint venture Colt Tollfab Pty Limited in March 2007.
